CityFALCON reaches Twitter Hatch competition final stage
20th July 2015
The competition set up by the social networking service and Flock, the developer tour programme, seeks to crown the most innovative business which incorporates the Twitter API or Fabric, its mobile development platform.
The final ten, whittled down from an immense number of applicants, are all in the running to win $25,000, a one-on-one mentor session with a Twitter exec, Twitter Ad credits and VIP access to Twitter’s developer events.
CityFALCON harness financial data from news sources and Twitter, filtering and curating the data using information from the social network.
Ruzbeh Bacha, founder and CEO says: “We are extremely delighted and looking forward to showcasing our product at Twitter’s HQ in San Francisco. Twitter has become a comprehensive and real-time news resource for investors and Traders. Leveraging Twitter and crowd curation, CityFALCON provides relevant financial news to all who need it, and not simply the institutions that can afford it.”
CityFALCON, who is currently raising their second seed round, and the nine other finalists, have been invited to Twitter’s San Francisco HQ on August 11 to pitch to a panel of expert judges.
