DIGITAL MINISTER LAUNCHES THE UK CYBER DEMONSTRATION CENTRE AT LEVEL39

World-class facilities offered to UK’s Cyber community to encourage growth in international markets 

The UK Cyber Demonstration Centre will serve SME’s committed to making London the most secure place in the world to do business

The Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, Minister for Digital, will today formally launch the UK Cyber Demonstration Centre, a government-backed facility for cyber SME’s to showcase and demonstrate their capabilities, products and services to potential clients and international markets. He will also meet some of the most successful cyber start-ups, including Digital Shadows, a founding member of Level39 which recently raised $26m investment led by British VC firm Octopus Ventures. 

The Cyber Demonstration Centre will make world-class purpose facilities available to UK-based SME cyber security suppliers to showcase the latest cyber security technologies to potential customers.

The Cyber Demonstration Centre is based at Level39, the tech community at Canary Wharf, and home to the largest concentration of cyber start-ups in London. It has been commissioned by the Cyber Growth Partnership in conjunction with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport and the Department for International Trade.

“The UK needs world-class infrastructure to become a truly digital nation and the most secure place in the world to do business. That’s why the Cyber Demonstration Centre is so important for our our small and medium enterprises to develop and showcase the best of UK innovation in cyber security.”
