Digital Reasoning acquires healthtech firm Shareable

Level39 member Digital Reasoning, which enables the understanding of human communication through a machine-learning platform, has acquired Shareable, a health-care technology provider which offers a mobile clinical documentation platform.

Digital Reasoning’s cognitive analytics platform will combine with Shareable’s e-document system – in real-world terms this could lead to doctors having a clearer. more detailed understanding of patients’ by aggregating patient data across healthcare systems.

“Digital health is a strategic market for Digital Reasoning as we pursue our mission to use cognitive computing to create a better world,” said Tim Estes, CEO of Digital Reasoning. “There’s a tremendous demand for disruptive technology in health care to optimize care, improve research, and find waste and fraud. 

In December 2015, Digital Reasoning received a strategic investment from leading US healthcare provider HCA.
