Located in the heart of Canary Wharf, CFTE’s Fintech Campus is hosting a series of events composed of exciting learning sessions, great networking and advanced discussions on the Future of Finance.


This presentation will be anchored by Philippe Gelis, CEO/Co-founder of Kantox, a leading Fintech company building solutions that help clients to automate their FX workflow and leverage foreign currencies to increase competitiveness.

Kantox is considered to be one of the fastest-growing Fintech companies in the world. They were winners of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 UK between 2016 and 2018, they were recently awarded Best e-FX platform for Corporates at the 2019 FX Week e-FX Awards and, lastly, they received the Best Risk Management Solution award at the 2018 Treasury Management International Awards.

Philippe began his career as a strategy and management consultant, spending several years working for Deloitte and is now widely recognised as a global Fintech thought leader and influencer. He holds a MSc in Business Strategy and an MBA in Corporate Finance, both from Toulouse Business School.

This session will explore what it takes to build and scale a successful Fintech company, as experienced through the lens of Philippe’s journey with Kantox, and will highlight relevant lessons and key advice for entrepreneurs and startups.
