Gary Smyth is a sales leader with sales and leadership experience across multiple industries, including technology and manufacturing. Gary is originally from Northern Ireland and has gained global experience living and working in Europe, Asia and North America.

Gary has experience building both sales and business development organizations from the ground up within public companies, Oracle, Informatica and Elastic, also within a growing startup, Observe, Inc. Gary also founded his own sales consulting company, helping organizations take their business and sales organization to the next level. Throughout his career, Gary has always been passionate about helping start-up and scale up organisations with all aspects of go-to-market strategy, and has been actively mentoring with an accelerator based in Texas, Capital Factory, to help portfolio companies build a repeatable and scalable revenue model.

Building community is also important for Gary, he has led the Austin Chapter of the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals for the last 9 years, with the overall goal of facilitating conversations where like-minded founders, executives and sales professionals can come together, share ideas, best practices, and help each other overcome challenges together. Gary also recently joined the Board of Directors of a US based non-profit, E4 Youth, where the mission is to help underserved communities gain access to creative and digital skills to ensure they are seen, heard and hired in the innovation economy.
