Gavin is an experienced business leader, manager and mentor. He has over 20 years financial markets and digital asset expertise. He now advises traditional and crypto-native funds on their investment processes, utilising his capital markets experience and vast network of contacts. He is also the co-founder of a quantitative crypto hedge fund.
Gavin has a successful track record of building teams and fostering growth, running sales and trading desks for several global investment banks, crypto firms and at multi-billion dollar hedge funds. His responsibilities included growth, profitability, business planning, hiring, strategy and tactics. He has been dedicated to both managing and motivating people and building long lasting, trusting business relationships.
He has seen multiple business cycles, varying monetary policy stances, has held SME advisory roles and has worked for deep value distressed funds with private and public investments requiring fundamental analysis as well as trading, derivatives and macro expertise.
