James Pearson is an executive level leader with more than 25 years of experience in Financial Services with HSBC, Capital One, Lloyds, and Experian. This includes deep international knowledge across developed and emerging markets having worked in the UK, Canada and the UAE covering country roles as well as regional and global roles.

 His expertise in retail banking covers running & growing retail product businesses (cards, lending, deposits), leading analytics, fraud, and risk management including credit, conduct, AML/Sanctions, and operational risk. James has led product management functions designing, developing, and running products focused on solving customer needs.

He has mergers & acquisition experience in due diligence, financial modelling and project delivery from the acquisition of Oman International Bank and the Lloyds UAE business as well as a number of divestments. He has built and led diverse and inclusive teams in different geographies and cultures.

James is a passionate believer in mentoring and supports colleagues as well as volunteering as a business mentor for a number of social enterprise organisations including Bridges for Enterprise, London Business Partnership and Numberfit.
