Sotiris Manderis has worked in investment banking for more than 20 years, most recently as a Managing Director for Corporate and Institutional Digital for HSBC Bank plc, leading a number of digital initiatives and transformation programmes across the bank.  His areas of focus are client-facing platforms and mobile apps (HSBCNet, HSBC MyDeal), AI & machine learning (bots, recommenders, analytics), asset tokenisation, Fintech partnerships and strategic investments.

Prior to this, Sotiris held several senior positions within structuring and credit trading, lately as the Head of Electronic Trading within Credit Trading, with responsibility for both internally improving electronification of the business globally, as well as partnering up with key fintech companies and internalising their technologies. Sotiris has previously worked at a variety of banks, including UBS AG, Toronto Dominion and Dresdner Kleinwort in fixed income front office roles. He is passionate about advancing the digitisation of the financial sector and working with fast-pace, diverse, teams to deliver it.
