Malaysia Gateway into Digital ASEAN

ASEAN, with a population of 650 million, is the fastest growing Internet market in the world. With 125,000 new users coming onto the Internet every day, the ASEAN digital economy is projected to grow significantly, adding an estimated $1 trillion to regional GDP over the next ten years. Malaysia a gateway into ASEAN is targeting RM70billion investments and opening up 500,000 jobs within the digital economy. Malaysia continues to welcome new investments in 2022.

Malaysia is strategically located in the heart of South-East Asia; Malaysia is a preferred gateway for Tech companies when it comes to accessing the other 9 markets in South East Asia (ASEAN) with a demography of 650Million plus into the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) which today (since 1/01/22) is the largest trading block in the world comprising of the 10 ASEAN countries, China, Japan, South Korea, NZ & Australia with the collective demography of 2.2 Billion

Malaysia provides digital infrastructure and transformation, favourable tax incentives, ease of doing business, similar parliamentary democracy, and English Common Law creating vast opportunities for UK companies seeking growth in the ASEAN marketCumulatively, Malaysia has attracted RM345 billion (approx £65Billion) worth of investments over the years, creating 184,396 jobs, and housing 40 of the Forbes100 companies in Malaysia.
