With a government committed to promoting foreign direct investment and an advanced financial system, the Dominican Republic’s FinTech ecosystem is quickly growing. It has FinTechs from various international markets such as Spain, Colombia, USA and Mexico.

Additionally, according to the Dominican Association of FinTechs (ADOFINTECH), 31% of FinTech companies recently interviewed in the country, opened operations in other markets in 2021-  LatAm being the main destination for their expansion.
