Event Management Coordinator (Internship)



Work with the director of LIS to arrange seminars
Liaise with speakers to find out their exact event requirements, topics to be discussed and dates they are available
Negotiate date and venue with Level39
Giving names of attendees to the front desk
Ensuring that all technical appliances are working on the day of the event, ie. Cameras, computer, projector

Admin tasks :

Setting up tickets on Eventbrite
Uploading pictures and transcripts of events on the website
Creating new pages of events on the website and adding links to purchase tickets


Bachelor’s Degree

Detecting inconsistencies and working to avoid them

Attention to detail

Communication and interpersonal skills

Negotiation skills – to arrange dates/venues of events

Important Note

Some events and meetings require availability out-of-hours (evenings and Saturdays).

Any potential candidate will be required to attend an induction prior to the start of the internship.
