Marketing Manager

The type of person we’re after:

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who has proven success in growing a business and developing a brand. You will beresponsible for marketing our SaaS product through a range of channels, achieving KPIs and reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing.  This role is perfect for an ambitious marketer who wants to further develop their skills at a dynamic. growing SaaS company.

We’d like you to have a passion for people and love being part of the team, as you need to be able to interact with a variety of people such as the finance director, the customer success team, suppliers and our all-important customers.

We’d also like you to be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude even when asked to do things outside of your job description and skillset. Importantly, we’d like you to have the ability to stay organised and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment with strong attention to detail.

  • Be a multi-talented marketer: This role requires someone with a diverse marketing skill-set who can apply their talents in a number of different areas – marketing automation, SEM, SEO, web and any channel where our potential customers might be found. You must love marketing, love tech and love the idea of helping a small company grow into a very big one.

  • Create the marketing vision: Be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of our company marketing strategies and communications. You’ll manage a Marketing Assistant and a copywriter plus external agencies like our PR agency.

  • Implement the marketing strategy: Drive this multi-channel strategy via email marketing, SEO, PPC, Social Media, CRM, promotions, partnerships, print and events.

  • Achieve business objectives: Including expanding our customer base and improving retention, playing a key role in helping to drive all of our revenue targets across the business and growing our reputation and brand image.

  • Use data to guide the strategy: Research and analyse the needs of new and existing customers and identify market trends and opportunities.

  • Set a great example: Be hard-working, passionate and bright, with a great sense of humour.

  imageSkills & Knowledge:

  • Marketing degree or CIM qualifications.

  • 5+  years previous marketing experience – ideally in a SaaS business.

  • Excellent relationship building skills.

  • Natural creative flair.

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Proven track record in successful delivery of B2B marketing campaigns.

  • Experience of successfully managing a roster of agencies.

  • Proven capability of managing large budgets effectively.

  • Innovative in your approach, flexible, self-motivated and a natural self-starter.
