The role

TAINA is looking for a self-motivated Tax Specialist (SME) for a client-facing role interacting with new and existing customers in support of TAINA software solutions. The role will add to a global team of professionals providing agile solutions for new or changed functionality, testing systems through UAT and regression strategies. The role will support deploying solutions for compliance with tax documentation regulations under Chapter 4 (FATCA), Chapter 3 (NRA), Backup and Common Reporting Standard (CRS). The successful candidate will be a critical contributor to the development of the FATCA/QI, NRA and CRS Tax Compliance Solutions, including:

● Review and improvement of controls
● Withholding and information reporting regulations and workflow testing
● Evaluation of Tax Operations processes
● Support client demonstrations and creation of completed tax forms
● Support the training and integration of TAINA software solution with clients
● Work with Business Analysts and Product teams to identify, document and validate enhancements and upgrades to software

Must haves

● 3-5 years experience in Financial Services
● 1-2 years of CRS, NRA, FATCA and/or Chapter 61 (Back-up Withholding)
● Top degree in relevant financial discipline
● Experience of championing risk and compliance in the workplace
● Strong ability to interact with people at all levels with a customer-first approach
● Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word
● Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all
