5th February 2016

Level39 member Pointr, which enables super-accurate indoor navigation and positioning, has been shortlisted in KPMG’s ‘Best British Mobile Startup’ competition and has recently given the technology a spin around our offices.
The pitching event, which takes place next week at Cass Business School, pits Pointr against five other high-flying technologies in order to win a place at the Barcelona final event at Mobile World Congress.
In the above video, watch how Pointr reveals detailed information about a user’s movement with 1-metre precision. Additional details are also communicated, including steps taken, speed of walk and orientation.
Pointr CMO, Axel Katalan, says “This is the first time such performance has been achieved with such little tech deployment, in such short time. Happy to share that this is not only our opinion but also the likes of venues such as Heathrow Airport who have tried and tested our solution.
A representative of Heathrow Airport was also quick to identify the quality of Pointr’s technology citing its precision and smoothness.
