Andrew Doukanaris

Andrew Doukanaris brings a fairly unique set of skills and ideas to all things Fintech and Payments. Having worked for the ChevronTexacoCaltex brands whilst based in London, Singapore and San Francisco, he was responsible for their global payments, loyalty, strategy development and deployment – across 40,000 outlets worldwide.

Andrew joined Visa Inc., to head up their retail division and merchant acceptance development, across Europe, the Middle East and Africa working with global brands such as McDonald’s, BP, Carrefour and even TfL to develop individual card acceptance solutions and even bringing contactless payments into London’s iconic Black Taxis ahead of London 2012.

Andrew established Flotta Consulting, a bespoke and innovative consulting practice, to focus on assisting the growing number of Fintech’s who were joining the payments ecosystem. Andrew has worked with Level39 members Pomelo Pay, where he is also the Chair, Green Wallet and Innovate Banque and has advised many others and describes Level39 as London’s most innovative workspace. 

Andrew is passionate about making payments easier and more transparent for consumers, merchants and banks alike. He has spoken and panel hosted numerous events internationally and is a regular contributor to various committees from Brexit to the future of payments.
