Arvin Abraham

Arvin Abraham is a lawyer and angel investor who focuses his practice on fintech and corporate transactions for private equity sponsors and venture capital funds. He complements his transactional practice with deep expertise in the regulatory landscape for financial institutions including banking, payments and digital assets.

Arvin works across the tech-ecosystem, including with venture capital firms, strategic investors and startup companies.

Previously Arvin was part of the management teams at two major international banks and has extensive experience with leading bank consortia initiatives and advising on strategic investments. He is an expert in the application of technology to provide solutions to banking clients, including in the areas of operational efficiency and regulatory change. He also has particular expertise in the areas of Payments, Blockchain & Crypto-currency, Trading Systems, and Broker-Dealer Issues.

He has been part of the Level39 community since 2016 and serves as an informal ‘solicitor in residence’ for Level39 member companies. As a Level39 mentor he is available to provide advice on:

·         Fundraising and interacting with VCs and angel investors;

·         Getting noticed by clients and understanding their needs;

·         How to pitch technology solutions;

·         The latest “hot” issues for the banking industry;

·         How to improve clients’ user experience;

Arvin holds law degrees from Harvard University and the University of Cambridge and is qualified as a lawyer in England and Wales and New York.
