Vincenzo La Ruffa is Head of the Financial Technology and Services Group at Aquiline Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in New York investing globally in financial services and technology. Vincenzo also serves on the investment committee for Aquiline Technology Growth, a venture fund focused on insurance and financial technology.
Vincenzo was previously Managing Director and Cofounder of Susquehanna Growth Equity, a private equity group focused on financial technology and software.
He currently serves on the boards of Ascensus, HedgeServ, Virtus Partners, and OSG Holdings. Vincenzo’s prior investments include TogetherWork (acquired by GI Partners), Simply Business (acquired by Travelers), BISAM (acquired by Factset), 29West (acquired by Informatica), The Logic Group (acquired by Barclays), CashEdge (acquired by Fiserv), and ETF Securities (acquired by WisdomTree).
Vincenzo is a board member of Christendom College, the Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia, the National Catholic Bioethics Center, and the Collegium Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He previously served on the Investment Committee of Mercy Investment Service and the Tobacco Settlement Investment Board of Pennsylvania.
Vincenzo graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned a BA in Classics and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School.
