Vincenzo La Ruffa

Vincenzo is President of Aquiline Capital Partners and heads the firm’s Financial Technology and Services group. He is a member of the Investment Committees of the Aquiline Financial Services Funds, Aquiline Technology Growth Fund and the Aquiline Credit Opportunities Fund. He is also on in the Firm’s Commitment, Portfolio Review, Origination and Valuation Committees.

Prior to joining Aquiline in 2014, Vincenzo was a co-founder and managing director of Susquehanna Growth Equity, where he invested in financial technology, healthcare information technology, and software companies across the United States, Europe, and Israel.

He is a member of the Boards of Directors of Ascensus, Inc. and HedgeServ Holdings LP. He served previously on the Boards of Simply Business (sold to The Travelers Companies), Togetherwork (sold to GI Partners), Virtus Partners (sold to FIS), Fenergo (realized in a 2018 recapitalization), and BISAM (sold to FactSet).

Vincenzo’s prior investments include The Logic Group (sold to Barclays), 29West (sold to Informatica), and Managed Markets Insight and Technology (sold to Welsh Carson).

He is a member of the Boards of Trustees of the Collegium Institute, National Catholic Bioethics Center, the Regina Angelorum Academy, Delbarton School, and the Montfort Academy.

Vincenzo received a B.A. in Classics and a B.S. in Economics, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
