Level39 member and social trading network eToro has announced a $100 million fundraise in a Series E round led China Minsheng Financial.
The high-growth member, which has had an office at Level39 since 2014, has now raised more than $160m in total capital. Investors in this round include SBI Group, Korea Investment Partners and The World Wide Investment Company.
eToro enables participants to automatically follow other investors in real time and boasts a community more than 9 million users, receiving over $1 billion in customer deposits in 2017.
The firm will use the capital raised to enter new markets and research on blockchain technology. The firm are noted for introducing cryptocurrency trading recently allows users to trade in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple.
