OpenCorporates hits 100 million companies

One of our members, OpenCorporates, maintains the largest database of open companies in the world – and they’ve just reached 100 million companies in their directory.
The International Anti-Corruption Summit has just wrapped up in London – so now’s a relevant time for the business – as they played an important part in the recent Panama Papers scandal.
During the peak of the scandal they saw an 11,000% uptake in use in Argentina – where information about Argentina’s president was found in OpenCorporates data.
They also added company information from Delaware – one of the top incorporation districts for companies named in Panama Papers.
