Level39 Integrates InChorus Slackbot
18th August 2021
InChorus is the organisation behind the Fintech for All Charter launched in 2020. The Charter followed InChorus’ research into micro-behaviours experienced by individuals working in fintech, which revealed high levels of workplace harassment in the sector. The Charter was designed to bring together a coalition of companies with the aim of creating an inclusive fintech sector where diverse talent thrives, driving innovation and growth.
There are now more than 85 signatories of the Charter, committed to supporting a more inclusive fintech sector and creating a ‘speak-up’ culture in the industry.
InChorus recently launched the InChorus Slackbot (Sifted write up, here), designed to:
- support employees and promote a ‘speak up’ culture
- Reinforce positives, through celebrating actively inclusive behaviours, and identify microaggressions
- Generate aggregated industry culture insights so that we can lean in to targeted action
As a signatory and keen supporter of the Fintech For All mission, Level39 has installed the InChorus Slackbot across its community channels, empowering Level39 members and staff to anonymously report everyday instances of bias and harassment and to recognise micro-affirmations (actively inclusive behaviours). This data will be aggregated at an industry level and used by FinTech For All to suggest targeted areas of improvement amongst the signatories.
The Slackbot is free for Fintech For All members, so we encourage you to find out more, sign the Charter and join other fintechs in collecting key data and gaining insights into the micro-behaviours shaping their workplace culture.
We recently recorded the latest episode of our Digital39 Podcast with Rosie Turner, Co-Founder at InChorus and Lucy Hutchinson, Diversity & Inclusion Lead at Wise, discussing the importance of data and analysis in understanding the ED&I challenges facing the fintech sector.
We are pleased to announce this episode is now live – give it a listen here!
