London, 23 July 2021
Foxberry today announced that Rize UCITS ICAV (“Rize ETF”), has chosen Foxberry’s foxf9® platform to develop and launch its new thematic ETF. The theme of the new ETF is environmental impact. The Rize Environmental Impact 100 UCITS ETF (LIFE) is tracking the new Foxberry SMS Environmental Impact 100 USD Net Total Return Index, and the ETF will trade on Europe’s main stock exchanges, including the London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana, Deutsche Börse Xetra and the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Following Foxberry’s announcement of the general availability of foxf9 earlier in the year, it has quickly become the platform of choice for ETF and product issuers prioritising better tools for good and robust index construction as well as optimised feedback loops during the R&D process. Foxf9 is an open architecture platform, meaning that clients can work with third party data providers on the platform. With foxf9, a user can backtest portfolio models, screen on sustainability parameters, auto-generate index rule books and pitchbooks, and instantly analyse index compositions, including sustainability performance.
The user-friendly web interface means no programming skills are required. Rahul Bhushan, Co-founder/director of Rize ETF, commented: “At Rize we are dedicated to bring to market some of the most exciting emerging thematic themes early in their cycle. Nothing beats Foxberry’s foxf9 when it comes to working in an iterative way with new datasets to explore and develop new investment strategies, and then bring them to market quickly.”
Henrik Brunlid, CEO of Foxberry, commented: “When it comes to emerging themes, good robust index design and speed to market is essential. We are pleased that Rize have chosen the foxf9 platform.”
