Rize ETF expands with Pet Care and Ecommerce using Foxberry’s foxf9®
5th April 2022

London, 5 April 2022: Foxberry today announced that Rize ETF are on this day launching and listing two new exchange traded funds (“ETF”) which have been developed on Foxberry’s foxf9® platform, giving exposure to stocks of companies in the pet care market and the emerging markets digital consumer market respectively.
The Rize Pet Care UCITS ETF invests in companies that are benefiting from the rise in the ownership and humanisation of pets, and the Rize Emerging Market Internet and Ecommerce UCITS ETF provides exposure to the EM digital consumer market. The indices track the Foxberry Pet Care USD Net Total Return Index and the Foxberry Emerging Market Internet & Ecommcerce USD Net Total Return Index respectively. The ETFs are listing today on London Stock Exchange (LSE) and Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Xetra).
This is the fourth ETF launched in 2022 alone that was developed on the foxf9® platform. Following Foxberry’s announcement of the general availability of foxf9 last year, it has quickly become the platform of choice for ETF and product issuers prioritising better tools for good and robust index construction as well as optimised feedback loops during the R&D process. Foxf9 is an open architecture platform, meaning that clients can work with third-party data providers on the platform. With foxf9, a user can backtest portfolio models, screen on sustainability parameters, auto-generate index rule books and pitchbooks, and instantly analyse index compositions, including sustainability performance. The user-friendly web interface means no programming skills are required.
Rahul Bhushan, Co-founder/director of Rize ETF, commented:
“When we choose our themes at Rize, we also try to understand the potential drivers of a theme going forward to ensure the investment rationale is there. Both the pet care and emerging market digital consumer theme have strong underlying drivers, and we are pleased having worked with Foxberry and foxf9 to bring these to market in record time, and using foxf9 to explore portfolio construction based on our data vendor, and ultimately deliver this investment innovation.”
Henrik Brunlid, CEO of Foxberry, commented:
“Rize’s two new themes are giving exposure to two rapidly evolving trends. We are pleased to enable Rize to launch these innovative ETFs.”
