Maria Contreras-Sweet, the administrator of the United States’ Small Business Administration paid Level39 a visit to talk tech, collaboration and diversity along with Seven Hills.
The three-part discussion touched upon corporate collaboration, diversity in the industry and an outlook for the future.
Contreras-Sweet, who immigrated to LA from Mexico, subsequently setting up a bank and joining Obama’s cabinet – had many of her own experiences to share.

She touched upon the United States’ support for SMEs and startups – explaining the function of the small business administration and highlighting the importance of innovators and investors in the industry.
