Trunomi completes $3 million capital raise

Trunomi, the Level39 member which provides a consent-based KYC data-sharing technology, has closed a $3 million capital raise, led by Saturn Partners.

Also present in the fundraising round were Fenway Summer, Persistent Ventures and SenaHill Partners.

Launched in October 2014, Trunomi provides solutions for financial firms to collect and verify customer data, helping the financial services industry solve challenges around KYC and data sharing.

“With the support of our investors, we are changing how the financial services industry approaches KYC as well as the way data privacy is managed. This round of capital will drive Trunomi’s efforts to ensure financial service providers unlock the potential of data, yet in a compliant and efficient manner, through the power of consumer consent,” says Trunomi Founder and CEO, Stuart Lacey.

It’s been a great year for the Trunomi team which can boast that they were included in the 2015 European FinTech 50 ranking and also named a finalist in the Visa Europe Collab Startup Competition.
