Level39 welcomes a new neighbour: University College London

Level39 is delighted to welcome a new neighbour from September 2016. World-leading university UCL will base its new School of Management postgraduate programme on the 38th floor of One Canada Square.

As one of the world’s top-ranked universities, UCL is eager to tap into Canary Wharf’s unique fusion of business, technology and finance and we can’t wait to welcome them.

The School will significantly expand UCL’s research and teaching in business and management with a focus on innovation, tech, analytics and entrepreneurship, occupying the whole of the 38th floor.

Education at Level39 isn’t new to us. We’ve been working with UCL on their student society, UCL FINDS, which brings students together for a series of intelligent debate and discussion around geo-political and financial themes.

When we’re not busy hosting world-class events, we’re also proud of our education programme, the Level39 curriculum which puts entrepreneurs in front of mentors, advisors and experts from various professional fields to build their proposition and turbocharge their growth.

While undergraduate programmes will still be based at the on the UCL Bloomsbury campus – all students will be able to take advantage of the benefits offered at Canary Wharf.

Canary Wharf Group’s chairman and CEO, Sir George Iacobescu, says: “We are delighted to be welcoming University College London, one of the world’s top-ranked universities, to Canary Wharf. The agreement between Canary Wharf Group and UCL will enable the brightest postgraduates to benefit from proximity to world-class financial and professional services institutions.”
