Veridu win PayExpo Dragons’ Den Award
23rd June 2014

Level39 member Veridu have won PayExpo’s award for payment technologies.
Mirroring the format of the BBC’s successful television programme, five industry ‘dragons’ named Veridu as their ‘winning innovator’ in the secure online payments industry. PayExpo is an annual conference that gives justified recognition to those companies who are making online payments better, faster and more secure. Veridu beat off stiff competition for the title.
Rasmuth Groth, Founder of Veridu, was understandably pleased with the result, “This is a huge moment for Veridu and the whole team is very excited about winning.”
Veridu analyse a wealth of social media data to help validate user-identity, and by doing so they help mitigate the risk of fraud. Rasmus is very pleased with how Veridu’s technology is developing.
“Today, our data and algorithms are able to very precisely pinpoint who you should deal with and who could be fraudsters. Social data is going to be a gamechanger for the industry. The richness and value of the social data we use is recognised by our customers, investors and partners that have tried and tested our products.”
