Yielders makes history: The first UK Shariah compliant Fintech company based at Level39
27th February 2017

Yielders, the equity-based property crowdfunding platform based at Level39, has announced it has become the first Shariah-compliant Fintech company in the UK.
Offering retail investors the chance to purchase shares of a crowdfunded property, Yielders’ platform achieved the certification following an audit by UKIFC – the Islamic Finance Council.
The process was long – but the end result was worth it. An exciting journey which allows Yielders to operate across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Irfan Khan, Yielders founder and financial services veteran, says: “We are delighted to be the first UK FinTech company to be Sharia certified. While it says much about our business ethos and ethics, it also demonstrates our place as a dynamic player in the UK Islamic finance sector. We are dedicated to what we do and to be recognised as doing so in a responsible and ethical way that will allow us to reach potential investors for whom this is important too.”
